Transportation planning

Biz4Elements allows to plan transportation using own vehicle fleet or ordering it externally.
For own transportation planning or external ordering a Dispatcher’s board can be used. This module enables a dispatcher to plan deliveries and collections. Order of particular picks and drops may be determined here with subsequent warehouse requirements being generated for picking in the exactly given order. To specify an optimized route and timing of picks and drops it is possible to use an external planning system linked to the dispatcher’s board.

Furthermore, it is possible to send customer notifications of date and time of delivery (e-mail or fax), possibly an order of transportation at an external company is generated. Own drivers are printed Delivery order with an identification of picks and drops.

The module Transport order allows to order planned collections and deliveries at an external company. Orders may be printed and sent by a post or an electronic order may be sent. Transportation costs may be allocated to transported orders after receiving an invoice.
