Task and interaction management
Task and interaction management - as the opportunity goes through the phases of the selected sales cycle, the system automatically generates activities (a complex of tasks, to-dos) for responsible persons. Aside of automatically generated tasks it is possible to create independent ones linked to opportunities or contacts. Tasks may be fully synchronized with tasks and meetings of MS Outlook where they may be handled independently of the information system.
The system has tools for active monitoring of individual salesperson’s tasks and their dates; using system tasks linked to an opportunity it shows a total capacity needed to process a quote. This is an important tool for a business manager who is then able to assign work on new orders based on a work load of individual salespersons.
Any communication either related to an opportunity or without such relation may be registered in the system as an Interaction. Interactions cover typical activities like phone calls, meetings, sent and received e-mails, important documents, etc. They may be recorded in system, building a complete, not only marketing oriented database. Individual interactions may be recorded to a contact or a particular person.
