Subcontractor selection

Subcontractor selection - during tendering procedure, project preparation, realization and warranty period a need may arise to have a part of the project delivered by a subcontractor. Each calculation item may be assigned a partner - it can be an external subcontractor, but also an internal department (division structured company).

To inquire after external subcontractors, inquiries are used which may be created from materials lists (for materials tendering), detailed budget or manually. An inquiry may be sent to subcontractors also in a structured form to be able to import it back to the system and evaluate it
. To address subcontractors in a tendering procedure, marketing tools described in the section project management. A complete documentation and communication with subcontractors are recorded. For each subcontractor, a structure questionnaire may be filled out (manually/automatically) designed for the needs of that particular tendering procedure with selected weight of individual answers, letting the system evaluate the most suitable subcontractor.

The winning subcontractor is then assigned to an appropriate calculation item, a contract or an order is recorded - it is then possible to create an individual time schedule, cash flow, detailed budget, attach project documentation.
