Project card

Project card - holds a basic data of realized projects including information on investors, dates, responsible persons. The project card is directly linked to other Microsoft Dynamics NAV modules, for a project manager/realization team it is an intersection where all information about a project meet.

Each project may be assigned a responsible project manager or a team. Access rights may then be set to restrict users to work only on their projects - these access rights are then applied not only to the project card itself, but also to other respective areas of the information system. Projects may be linked to form a hierarchical structure which may be viewed either separately by projects or as a whole. The hierarchical structure is applicable e.g. to a company with a separate divisions structure with internal invoicing.

Projects may be sorted by types - a selected type determines the management of a project (budget templates, required documents, etc.). A user-defined list of statuses may be also set - a status may change either manually by a user or automatically on the basis of project’s advance (e.g. delayed milestone).
