Production planning

BIZ4Elements allows for planning using both limited and unlimited capacities.
Capacity planning is usually carried out with unlimited resources due to short delivery terms of final products. Capacity is monitored by individual professions and the total workload per day/shift or in other production units - square meters per shift (varnishing line). External resources may be used in case of capacity overload. Work efficiency is evaluated at the end of each month and bonus system is set up accordingly.

In case of limited capacity planning, such as e.g. varnishing line, the system allows to plan consecutive orders following user defined parameters (materials, color, etc.). In case of orders with the same parameters setup times are dynamically adapted. On the contrary, small orders automatically fill requested capacity to minimum limit -> extra costs. A graphical plan then shows the load of workplaces and progress of particular orders.
