Distribution Optimization

Distribution optimization concerns a distribution from a warehouse - usage optimization of available fleet, total cost minimization, quick distribution order reaction. The main criteria are: maximum vehicle usage for maximum sale price and minimum costs. The route for given vehicle type is set, when the vehicle has to load to make the delivery on time. Suggested route for the vehicle ends in the last delivery point and from this point it enters a process of backward usage or in some situations the dispatcher can make a decision to return the vehicle back to the collection point and to include it in the distribution optimization process again.
