Using an external tool Business Analytics, advanced technologies may be used to create a managerial information system (MIS). It uses the OLAP technology of the Microsoft SQL Server. An external data warehouse is created with a required structured form for analyses. It is possible to get data from the data warehouse using a pivot table of MS Excel. Another possibility is to use a sophisticated external client which allows to view the data in a graphical environment. The program also enables to create user-defined reports and company performance indicators.
