Bar codes

Microsoft Dynamics NAV includes a communication component for a bar code support. Mobile terminals communicating online with the information system may be used to process production operations. The use of bar codes in the manufacturing process enables to monitor materials consumption and times of particular manufacturing operations (setup time, run time). At production output, bar codes may be printed for final products. The labels may contain information on a serial or batch number.
